Local planning

Local tasks and related planner state are stored in your browser. Browser storage also keeps preferences such as appearance, and cached application files support the installed planner experience. Starting a local workspace does not automatically upload its tasks into an account.

Local storage is tied to the browser profile and device. Clearing site data, using a temporary browsing session or losing the device can remove it. Harbor cannot recover a local-only file that is no longer available in your browser or backups. Keep a separate export of important work.

Account features

If you choose account features, Harbor processes your sign-in email, account and workspace identifiers, session information, and the task or organization data you choose to store in that account. This information is used to authenticate you, save your account work, apply access permissions and support recovery.

Account sign-in uses session cookies. Local and account workspaces remain separate unless you explicitly move data through a supported import or migration flow. Sharing availability is a separate action: review its scope and recipient before sharing.

Service providers and request information

Vercel hosts the website, and Supabase provides account authentication and database infrastructure. Requests to hosted services involve information such as an IP address, browser information, request time and the requested resource. Hosting, authentication and email-delivery infrastructure may process that information to operate the service, prevent abuse and investigate failures.

Local-only planning does not mean that opening a hosted website sends no network requests. Account and operational records can remain in provider logs or backups according to the applicable service configuration; this notice does not promise immediate erasure from every backup.

Optional diagnostics

The planner records a bounded set of local error categories and performance measurements. Its diagnostics controls let you inspect, export or clear that information. Sending a report is an explicit action and sends aggregated error and performance information to the hosted Harbor diagnostic endpoint.

The report format excludes task titles, notes and sign-in credentials. Normal request metadata is still processed when you send it. A diagnostic report does not open a support conversation.

Advertising and payments

Harbor does not load advertising scripts or offer paid subscriptions in this release. If advertising is introduced, this notice will be updated to identify the providers and explain their data use and available choices before activation. Private task or calendar content will not be used as advertising-targeting parameters.

Your controls

Use the available export, reset and account-deletion controls for the workspace you intend to manage. Local browser storage and account storage are separate: clearing one does not necessarily clear the other. Export anything you want to keep before deletion, and follow the completion or recovery status shown for account operations.

Contact and privacy requests

Email harborplannersupport@gmail.com for privacy questions or help with a data request. Include enough context for us to understand your request, but do not send passwords, sign-in links or a full task export.

When you contact this Gmail address, Google processes the email and Harbor receives your email address, message and any attachments you send. We use that information to respond to your request. Contacting support is separate from the optional diagnostic report in the planner.

Changes to this notice

We will revise this page when data handling in the service changes and update the date above. Review it when enabling new account, sharing or future advertising features.
